*Disclaimer, I am a nail enthusiast, I am NOT a licensed nail tech and this is not to serve as a substitute for professional advice or instruction.
Doing my nails at home has become one of my favorite self-care things to do. Not only does it save me tons of money, but it is also very calming and soothing for me. Going to the nail shops had become more of a burden rather than me time. I was either running late because of traffic or the nail tech had to reschedule due to family issues. I was at the point of girl you spending too much money to be stressed about your nails. So just like that I took to youtube and got busy learning how to do my own nails.
With everything that is going on in the world, I am so happy that I started learning how to do my own nails before all the nail shops shut down. If you know me, you can probably count on your hand, how many times you have seen my real nails. I truly don't play about the way my nails look and I've been that way since the 5th grade.
Anywho, I have been obsessed with watching nail tutorials lately. I told myself it was time to step out of the box and try something different. I saw the Rainbow Nail Art from Vee Nailedit and told myself that I could recreate that look. Y'all nail art is not for the faint at heart. It was nerve-racking but so fun at the same time. The end results came out nice if I do say so myself.
